In principle, this is a good idea. Schools often deploy sophisticated network systems utilizing multiple subnets. However, in real use terms, the app doesnt solve the issue of firewall and other protective measures. If you werent able to connect using AirServer to begin with, Im guessing the school district did not intend for you to do so with or without this app. Looks like its back to tethering to make AirServer work.

At all. Done everything i can find in troubleshoot option. Doesnt work. Doesnt connect.

I had a gut feeling before installing it; I was right! I downloaded it and it didnt work, plus after reading some reviews in here, definitely I will delete it. Couple of advices before installing: 1) do your homework (and search 1st), and 2) trust your instincts. Im not trashing the the software, just didnt work for me, but might work for somebody else.

Great app works just fine but need the ability use the mouse on the mac side to use the iPhone

Well the qr code will no scan because one reason its to frekin big to fit my computer!!!! PLEASE HELP

This app does not scan.

It is really very bad app, I dont like fake apps !!!!

In order to setup this app with the program on your computer you have to scan a qr code located in the preferences of airservers program, the problem is that the qr code wont scan.

This is a very simple app, to do one thing: help you AirPlay to a computer running AirServer that may not be on the same subnet that your iPhone is on. It scanned the barcode (found in AirServer preferences) just fine, and very fast. Not sure why others were having a problem.

I dont think the 1 stars know how to use this app... You have to install air server into your computer, go to preference, and double click the QR code (speaking from a MacBook Pro). Then you scan from your iPhone, go to control center, click AirPlay and click your MacBook. THE APP IS ONLY A 7-DAY TRIAL. However Im seriously considering buying it because you can even record with sounds from your MacBook!

During the trial, it was spotty to good at best. After purchasing, it didnt qualify for spotty! I just spent over two hours trying to connect my iPhone 6 plus to my iMac running 10.8.5 with 24 gigs of RAM.

I love how you dont have to have Apple TV plugged in your TV. Great app, great for mirroring iPhone and iPad. Very simple, fast, and easy to set up.

After reading other reviews, I noticed a reoccurring problem, the QR code wouldnt scan! Well I can say from my two devices (iPhone 6+ / Windows 10) that they worked perfectly with each other. The QR code does seem to be big but my iPhone 6+ was able to scan it.

I bought this app a year ago. It never has worked.

I love this app. I am a science teacher and i use this app everyday! I love it! Thank you for this great app.

It wont scan for me either it says my PC doesnt have the same wifi as my iPhone does but its the same
